Paddled this at 190cm, medium-low. Standard section fully clear, perfect level for first run of the gorge below the dam, fully clean as well. The big dam portage in the lower section is quite complicated, not easy to handle ropes and material once down -> ideally the entire team is equipped for descending or prepared to jump...

Paddled this at good water (comparable or higher as photo Severin), take out before mustrun on the left (stiff climb up to the path...). Excellent paddle, everything clear and smooth. Some water diversion works ongoing after the big road bridge, unclear whether this will impact this section...

Paddled with 10m3/s at Verzasca, Lavertezzo, medium water, all clear (putin at roadbridge below syphon rapid). Big works ongoing for water diversion, does not look so good for the future...

Etwa 3 km oberhalb der Sodbachbrücke zwängt sich der Hauptlauf auf der linken Talseite zwischen zwei grossen Felsbrocken durch. Die etwa 4m breite Lücke wird von einem quer liegenden Baum versperrt, der bei 24m3 knapp sichtbar ist. Rechts ausweichen oder bei tiefem Wasserstand umtragen ist möglich. Die Lücke ist von weitem sichtbar. Markant: auf dem rechten Felsbrocken steht ein etwa 1.2m hoher Baumstumpf.

Do NOT cross the fields when putting in. The farmer owning them is extremely angry at kayakers and is threatening to ban access.
Cross the wooden bridge and lower your kayaks down to the river on the right just after the bridge. You'll see a steep and slippery, but short, path down. That's the one.

At around LW (50cm) this is an easy class III with 2 or 3 class IV-ish spots. Amazing scenery all the way down.
